Organic Maps is shady anyway. I hear good things about comaps, but haven't actually used it for navigation because like every other FOSS app, it doesn't have live traffic data
That is a very big issue. I wish there was a way to get live traffic or even construction data into them.
Construction data is entered by the users on both Google Maps and OSM. I agree about the tragic. I mostly use Google maps for the traffic data, not the map. Unfortunately, there are no alternative.
