This shit has really gotten out of hand.
Hell, I'm afraid to scan in my mom's old hand written recipes because the fine print says I'd no longer own them.

Yes. But my scanner is from brother and their drivers are crap on all platforms.
I managed to get it to work with my Mac book yesterday. Evidently windows 11 is even worse.
If the apple craps out I've got an old pc with linux mint I can try. But mint never worked well on it.
