Use Linux?

I’m not firmly saying that’s the answer, but have you considered it?

Yes. But my scanner is from brother and their drivers are crap on all platforms.

I managed to get it to work with my Mac book yesterday. Evidently windows 11 is even worse.

If the apple craps out I've got an old pc with linux mint I can try. But mint never worked well on it.
