I'm considering buying iPhone 15 in US and read that there's no physical sim card slot, so it's only e-sim.

Will this work in every country? Has anyone here been nomadding just with e-sims?

I want to make sure I want get caught out in a country with simply no ability to get a sim.

I don't go anywhere too wild like Yemen, Afghanistan, etc.

But I like to visit countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Paraguay, etc.

I’m using an iPhone with eSIM in Peru as we speak. One from the home country and the other for Peru. I bought the eSIM on Maya and activated it with a QR code from my laptop. Did the same in Brazil and every other place
