Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

That's honestly so shocking I wonder what alterior motive he has.
Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna led the bipartisan effort to get EFTA I passed in 2025; in retaliation, Trump did everything in his power to get Massie primaried this year and succeeded, so now Massie is a lame duck with an even bigger grudge against Trump. Massie can do whatever he wants now, without fear of losing his already lost seat, until January when his replacement gets sworn in . . . IF Congress is allowed to come to work by Mike Johnson. Cue the long vacation.
Massie is also, depending on who you believe, also responsible for Mitch's long unexplained absence: there are those who maintain the reason for absolute silence on McConnell's absence is because had the Senate vacancy been confirmed, Massie -- also from Kentucky, and also newly available because he'd recently lost his primary -- would have grabbed it in a special election. (As McConnell declined to run for re-election, his seat will be filled in November's regular election anyway.)
I'm not a fan of Republicans or Republican policies, but this is a rare one who is refusing to march in lockstep on the subject of Epstein. I don't doubt he has a shitty record on unions and/or work reforms, all Rs do. But he's one of only four Republicans with a spine who crossed the aisle to get EFTA I passed. This long Congressional break Massie is highlighting above, posted by OP, is a specific and direct result of Mike Johnson doing whatever he can to stop EFTA II from coming to a vote, not just run-of-the-mill Republican rich boy posturing.
He's ok, the last ok Republican
Oh no. Massie is scary as fuck when you look at his policies and voting record. He just believed the MAGA flavor aid stuff, such as exposing all the elites in the Epstein files.
As with all of Trump's prior cronies, Trump commands absolute loyalty but returns none, and so when Trump's policies change, well, US was at war with Iran; therefore US had always been at war with Iran.
His motive is to gain name recognition so that he can win votes in the future. Massie will say whatever he can to be elected in the future and this community is falling for it by amplifying his voice.
Check out his score card throughout the years: he's not our friend: https://aflcio.org/scorecard/legislators/thomas-massie
Who gives a shit? If he gets votes for putting Trump in jail, I’d say he earned them.
Someone has to do it, and while I wish it was someone better leading the effort, 🤷♂️
Lmfao you support the guy that voted against impeachment every single time before 🤣🤣🤣 holy shit this is gold! So you think Massie would try to imprison trump, way off bud. He just wants Epstein files released, he would never do something "as dangerous as impeaching the president". I've never been so impressed with the lefts defense of right wing nuts. No wonder the USA is in the shape it is. "Don't question my upvote" mentality here folks
I don’t think any of that. You guys should be ashamed that it took this asshole to do anything about it. I’d say America is a fucking joke, but it’s not funny what they’re doing to the rest of the world.
This asshole isn't doing anything other than fucking tweeting. He's a republicuck. The rest of the world will suffer as the USA implodes though, so enjoy the show! I agree with you about USA being a joke, especially when a "work reform" community upvotes somebody that has voted against "work reform" goals. That's the biggest joke I've seen yet. Holy shit that's funny
Well, he’s the guy putting forward the bill. I support the effort, not the man. Why isn’t your favourite huckster doing it?
Lmfao ok buddy keep cheerleading for republicucks
Go to bed grumpy pants
While that may be true he is also trying to reveal some of the greatest crimes on the planet. I can appreciate an unlikely and uneasy alliance if it means bringing pedophiles in power to justice. Although the story about The Scorpion and the Frog comes to mind.
If I say the only way to bring Pedophiles in power to justice, I will get banned. 🤣🤣 Keep thinking your institutions actually work though, it's cute and so innocent.
The AFL-CIO says last year he voted on the side of workers 42% of the time, where the average Republican did so only 1% of the time. Fuck yeah I'm going to support this guy who represents a solid red district in Kentucky. The alternative would be someone who toes the party line and gets a score of 1%
Funny how you left out his lifetime average is 16%
🤣🤣🤣
Hell yeah this is how we get work reform! VOTE REPUBLICAN DONATE TO HIS CAMPAIGN 🤣🤣🤣
You're crazy dude. I'm never going to donate to a Republican. I'm also not going to talk shit about one of the only Republicans in the House who regularly bucks Trump
