I put put dots on all my mice this morning. They all slide they are running on air bearings!

So, I might need to add weight to prevent lift off? These dots are really thin. Like they dang near missed the whole dot tree when they sliced it down thin.
No weight needed, you have added spacers to your mouse and increased the distance the sensor is from the table when in use, when the sensor is lifted off and doesn’t have contact it stops mouse movement input.
If you add height your mouse may stutter in use because it thinks it has lifted off but still on the table.
Nope, no problems so far. All 3 work just fine.
If you buy PTFE skates fit for your mouse (or cut to the sizes for your mouse) and peel the old ones off, you won't get cat hair buildup and the mouse will be like new
I'mma still get cat hair on them. Like death and taxes, cat hair is inevitable everywhere.
