After a bit of time on this pair of earphones, the soundstage really gives me a good impression and it doesn’t need much encouragement to get lot same troubles me a bit too. I put on some nice frozen planet soundtracks and soon realized I was almost sleeping in my chair today.😅 Sometimes it really gives me goosebumps though the way that how they emphasize the sound. I’d say it is way much better than shure sonic 50 despite it is just an iem.

Hi, both my CFA Ara and Solaris 2020 have some hiss on a shanling m3x and a EU version Apple dongle. Seeing how the Emerald Sea are less sensitive but rated at even lower Ohms I'm curious to know what you use them with

I have the same hissing problem with the andromeda 2020, people claim the Apple dongle have no hiss or what so ever, but that is not true. I tried the lightning version (for iphone) and USB C version (on ipad and pc), both give hiss when playing quite music.

I end up using ifi iematch to eliminate the hiss, but I have mix bag for it affect on sound, so DAP seem to be the final solution of CA iem.

Iematch takes away some dynamics so i'd rather have a slight hiss than limp bass

I’ve been using dragonfly cobalt on my phone and it works pretty well; on my pc I do plug ifi portable dac but do occasionally noticed some hiss.
