Was this from an ad? What's the context here?
According to this (the site is in Spanish) the photo was taken back in 1997 by the reporter Óscar Berrocal while Shakira was visiting the facilities of a newspaper called El Heraldo in Barranquilla.
This is awesome. Stuch great genuine persona here being that this isn't a stretch. Almost looks like right out of a Disney or Nickelodeon scene.
Just a photo from when she started to get famous on a local level, she was just a schoolkid who sang at the time
