Pure free speech is nice conceptually but it’s ultimately not conducive to an ideal society. Things like hate speech laws in the UK go against free speech but ultimately protect marginalised communities from persecution and allow everyone to feel safe.

I agree , hate speech is the biggest bs bc it can be interpreted as someone wants
