It's doubly weird because even without the 's there's no reason for the first s. Sancocho is a stew.

Ah, thank you. I hadn't heard of that one so I was really trying to figure out what it could be. lol

Just looked it up and… it sounds delicious, of course. And I bet the food at the place in the menu is good, because when the owners of places like that struggle with the menu, it means the food is probably legit. heh
