This is a whole enshitification process right there. After a few months Deezer will start removing content that you will have access to over the winamp subscription, or winamp will pull an Amazon and insert ads into the paid subscription, call it basic subscription, and ask for more money for premium without ads.

Edit. Jokes aside I am with you. I still have my mp3s that I ripped from 20+ years ago. The best thing to do is go back to physical media.
I've been looking for a solid DAP for my car playing and afternoon walks, bit those things, at least the good ones, are super expensive. Still, better than paying for subscriptions though.
