My Father found this watch decades ago. He is not a big watch guy but knew enough to know it was cool find and worth holding onto. It’s been sitting in a drawer ever since. With a little research I believe that it’s a caliber 815 from sometime between 1956-1966. I found two potential reference models that look very similar. Ref 2517 and ref 2265. I know that opening the watch to get a picture of the movement is probably required to get an exact ID, but my father is hesitant to open it up ourselves. We might take it to a local watchmaker to have it looked at tomorrow. If anyone has any info they would like to share in the meantime, it would be greatly appreciated!

The watch is running and the alarm is working. Video in comments.

That’s a really cool and collectible piece. You should try to find a local watchmaker with experience with vintage watches to take a look at it. If the alarm is working the movement is probably still in pretty good shape.
