Sorry for joining in, but can you comment on "noise leakage", i.e. is the sound intended for you escaping to the outside and perceptable to others?
I find it difficult to say. I've gotten no such complaints, but I don't generally use these on, say, the couch next to others.
I wouldn't think they're much more noisy then the "non-plug" style of earbuds of yesteryear.
I always found that the cheap ones of the right side variety sounded way better than the cheap ones of the left side variety, but neither type tends to stay in my ear well enough, they all fall out so I'm the idiot who takes over-ear headphones to the gym.
Yee. The music being injected directly into the ear canal does make it easier for it to sound better. Just that the noise leakage of these is more on par with the ones on the left.
I do think the clip ones I have sound fairly well, but it does take a step from plugs.
