I think this one’s the best of the concert photography I had done recently. The smoke machine made for a bit of a challenge to shoot through, and this shot certainly isn’t good enough for my portfolio, but it’s good enough I could put it out here.

That seems like a pretty unhealthy work environment…
Theatrical haze is just a fine mist of glycerol - sugar alcohol (not to be confused with alcohol alcohol - it's non-intoxicating) and is a commonly used in food and cosmetics. You can eat it, drink it and inhale it with no side effects.
