As a coffee fanatic, I will say that adding filters to the FP really takes it up a notch and it's the best of both worlds - you get a better tasting cleaner brew and from a laziness standpoint the cleanup is a breeze. Look for Caffi filters. Work in just about any FP.
Unfiltered coffee is also high in cholesterol, a simple paper filter catches most of that.
coffee doesnt contain cholesterol, i think its the cafesatol, that raises the LDL, by inhibiting the enzyme that reduces cholesterol, a filter seems to solve tha tproblem.
But I don't want to.
I do enjoy the Espro I have, very tight seal and fine filter. But my daily driver is cheaper, I just don't pour out the last bit and works fine.
