Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

The acceleration is fun when you first get one but it burns through your tyres. Most of the time I'm on my adaptive cruise control on any appreciably long journeys.
Adaptive cruise is my second most hated feature in my car. Instead of holding my preset speed and throwing itself into a corner, it backs off to old lady speeds at the slightest curve, making it effectively useless as a cruise control, and meaning that I can maintain a better speed with my foot.
Number one most hated is definitely the "lane keep assist" that tries to force me into the oncoming lane on those same corners unless I fight against the steering wheel.
I like it. When traffic stops, adaptive cruise control also stops so you don't hit the car in front of you. And when traffic starts again, the car starts again.
Not using cruise control is always better for gas mileage, but adaptive cruise control lets you rest your legs in traffic.
I've never had it slow down when the road curved, only when a car is ahead of me.
