A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

street photographers who only shoot a bunch of silhouettes and the back of peoples heads
Is that even street bro
Them commenting a 28mm f11 street scene Cause its not 85mm+, not at least f1.4 and actually contains people and a whole scene that is visible.
Where did this 85mm trend come from? At this point I've seen a silly amount of people shooting street with a fancy Sony (it's always Sony, somehow) mirrorless and a 85mm.
Pierre t lambert, optical wander and northborders. All also very mich preset sellers and teal/orange fanatics
Kenneth Hines and Jason Vong posted a series of street photography videos and tutorials on YouTube, and Hines has basically made a living off his 85mm Zeiss Batis shooting street in NYC. They both tout Sony gear and 85mm for street.
