Our streak of winning the Lions’ division more recently than the Lions is about to end sadly

The old central divisions becoming the AFC/NFC North made sense. The funny thing is the NFC West became the NFC South and no one really thinks of it that way.

Yes in 2001 just before the realignment the NFC West consisted of the very western teams of San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Rams, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers
