I was rewatching Band of Brothers last night and there's a scene where a private admits to his lieutenant that he hid during battle because he was afraid. The lieutenant responds with something along the lines of "all of this gets easier once you accept that there is no hope, you're already dead"

Whole lot of Jets fans out there that could use the same advice. This season is dead as a doorknob and you still have people losing their shit and stressing out over whether Tim Boyle or Trevor Semian plays the next game...

There's nothing more pathetic than a Jets fan who has hope. I'm just here to see the craziest ways they can keep crashing the train.

hell yeah, I was also on a BoB rewatch last night but I’m past Operation Market Garden (it’s been like 5 years since the last time I’ve seen it)

“I lost a man today. Aaron. An Aaron Rodgers. New Yorker. Got killed today behind the Jets O-line.”

That was Albert Blythe I believe. Really sad story.

similar idea is just say to yourself the mantra "what is dead may never die" from GoT
