DeRozan took exception to Pascal Siakam attempting a 3-point shot with 3 seconds left and the Raptors leading by 12 points when Siakam could've dribbled out the clock. DeRozan angrily chastised the Raptors bench and coach Darko Rajakovic, who told coach Billy Donovan that Siakam attempted the shot because point differential matters for In-Season Tournament ramifications.

The Raptors actually had been eliminated from In-Season Tournament advancement before the game, but apparently, word didn't get to Rajakovic and Siakam.

"I don’t care about no In-Season Tournament points, none of that. Just respect for the game," DeRozan said. "If the roles was flip-flopped and I had the ball, hold it. It is what it is."

People on r/nba will literally take any reason to start hating on someone. Just look at the Wemby and Pop threads recently, two people who have been glazed constantly. Fairweather ass haters tbh, if you actually hate someone do it for a good reason and say it with your chest even when the majority is against you, fucking fence sitting ass karma farming losers

The users on the sub are massive frontrunners and will glaze everyone who's currently winning and shit on everyone who's currently losing.

I think this sub just discourages discussion bc everyone just downvotes if you disagree.

So that’s why you see threads just leaning one way with some old jokes thrown in. Bc anyone who opposes or has a diff opinion just gets downvoted or called a nephew/casual.

So that’s why it may look like one minute everyone is on one side, then the next everyone on another. Just depends on the thread. I think they shouldn’t let you see up/downvotes in this sub. Think it would help a lot

Hold up here. There are plenty of reasons to dislike popovich. First of all he is not a good coach; he has never done anything with a team that didn’t have multiple hall of famers. This is particularly true with the horrible job he did with team USA, leading a team comprised entirely of NBA caliber players against teams with at most two NBA players, yet finishing 7th. Then we have his condescending holier than thou attitude. So yeah, plenty to dislike.

French kid made a dry joke and people are calling him an ungrateful asshole. Have you ever met a French person before? Dry humor is as French as Canadians saying sorry.

Huge nothingburger of a controversy where people willfully took what he said and made it worst case scenario. And some people even had the gall to say "What did you expect he's French?" Fucking disgusting man

I’ve been hating Wemby and Pop since day 1

Just like I’ve hated Delly because he’s the worst nba player I’ve ever seen and he pulls bush league shit like not cutting his fucking fingernails. This sub loves him and I’ll continue taking downvotes for saying he never belonged in the nba.

I honestly just believe that the NBA seems to have more "divas" like Harden and Irving so the fans are a bit fed up and ready to turn on anybody.

The Giannis ladder incident is the one that I always think of when it comes to this flip flopping.
