I am interested in making and selling comic books - advertising them through social media

#1 Is it possible to do this digitally?

#2 Are there companies who I just fill out templates for and they build me physical comic books? And then dropship them for me?

#3 How profitable can comic books be if my audience is engaged in my regular animated story content? (Preteens, teens and early 20s are my main audience)

Thank you

Do you already have an engaged audience on social media?

Yes they are VERY engaged, but they never bought my merch, so I am thinking maybe they won't buy my comics

That's good to hear they're engaged. I wish I had some advice but the vast majority of money I make with my art is through book commissions not product sales. I too would like to get into comics but I'm not expecting to make any money; I just want to make things. It'll be interesting to see if either of us can transfer that short-term engagement you get on social media into the long-term engagement you'd get from a book. Good luck to you!
