As bad as it's been for the Clippers this year, what with the 6 game losing streak after trading for James Harden, it could be much worse. The Clippers have been very fortunate to have had 3 games against the Spurs already this season, and one against the Blazers. Their other two wins were that nailbiter against the Rockets at home (with the Harden and-1 three at the end), and a home win against the Magic who were on the second night of a back to back.
Their other 8 games (all losses) have been against the Jazz, Lakers, Knicks, Nets, Mavs, Grizzlies, Nuggets and now Pelicans. They do get the Blazers again in a couple weeks, but that's really their only easy game before Christmas. They're definitely a team to keep an eye on as they really can't afford to dig themselves too deep of a hole, what with the West being as strong as it is this year.
We need an athletic dirty work 6'10" forward. Our biggest strongest wing prefers to spend his time scoring, and while he does some of the dirty work we lack true interior size and athleticism - thinking along the lines of an Eric Gordon type player. Someone that doesnt need to score but plays every possession with ferociousness.
What I don't understamd is Lue's insistence with going small even when we are getting BBQ'd
You traded all your athletic forwards for Harden unfortunately
