As of right now, I really like how Lemmy and the rest of the Fediverse operates! Scrolling here seems to be much more lightweight on my low end computer than using Reddit.
Yeah, who knew that serving text and links didn't need to hog all of your computer's processing power? It really shows how much tracking BS reddit (especially new reddit) had
Fedia also gives off a very modern look, in my opinion. I have no idea why modern sites these days consume so much processing power. I think that future web developers could learn a thing or two from Fedia.
