when I was in school one of our instructors definitely delved deep into the meaning of photos and "what are you trying to say"

and I understand you should and can totally portray something and tell a story and imply a deeper meaning

but sometimes shit just looks cool

plus I think alot of artists have an intuition for those types of things and dont necessarily think about it. it just looks right
