Probably a noob question, but I wonder if someone has experience with that. I am looking to buy a TV and I wonder is it makes sense to buy one with decent HDR capabilities, when my plan is to watch pirated movies from my Linux device via HDMI. Is that technically possible? Is it easy?

If it matters, I am on Fedora silverblue.

In this day and age, the question should no longer be "will run on Linux?", rather "what's the best method for doing on Linux?"

Because - again, in this day and age - Linux is extremely capable and runs damn near the entire internet.
