And here's her big sister. She was a bit of a rebel ;)
Ah yes. Texting via GSM with limited text size so you'd have to be careful what to write. And playing Snake. And clunky as hell in the pocket. But not as tall as modern phones. Those were just different times
My Nokias both fit in my pocket. My smartphone? Not a chance.
is that the 3310? such a brick. i remember dropping it, where it bounced several flights of stairs, the rear cover and battery flying in opposite directions. when i picked it up, the case was intact, not a crack anywhere. and when i reinserted the battery, it came back to life like nothing happened.
Yep, my first phone! Nokias were great. I don't think I ever dropped mine though. I was short of money so I was careful to look after it. I only retired it when it became cheaper to buy a new phone than a new battery. The phone in the OP is the Nokia 100, but it didn't even have snake or bantumi :(
the 3310 was my first too. i was horrified watching it bounce. i have clumsy hands so it was not my last drop either.
i was such a huge nokia fan i adopted the smartphone later than my peers. i remember sticking to a nokia 1200 until the 2010s. i eventually bought a smartphone when it became cheaper to buy one than buy a digital camera and a phone separately.

I love the colour! Back when phones were fun, instead of the ultra serious business black rectangles we have now.
Some iPhone models have had more colour options but it still not quite the same.
