I remember a few days ago arguing with someone about the EPM rankings that had anthony davis as like the 50th best defender in the league

they thought it would just be impossible.. since he's a DPOY candidate blahblah

why is it so impossible to think there are 49 better defenders than davis in the league, that's still like 80th percentile. pretty good but not quite maximum elite
