Probably a noob question, but I wonder if someone has experience with that. I am looking to buy a TV and I wonder is it makes sense to buy one with decent HDR capabilities, when my plan is to watch pirated movies from my Linux device via HDMI. Is that technically possible? Is it easy?

If it matters, I am on Fedora silverblue.

This libreelec looks cool and I want to try it, but only nice usb creators for mac and windows, on linux fuck you, figure it out. Use dd or something.

there are easy gui based boot usb creators for linux if you arent comfortable with dd for some reason.
