The defensive effort is really what kills me. He seems disinterested in playing defense. Sloppy fouls, slow feet, acting hurt after getting scored on and not running down court with his teammates. Luka is amazing but like playing at 80% his potential because of some mental blocks and defeatist tendencies.

Tbf i think he was mentally checked out. This wasnt a pretty game from the Mavs. It's also regular season so yeah

Whenever a player acts like they got hurt on more than a single possession when they are guarding I almost always cringe. Seems like commonplace for Luka when he’s feeling ‘down’ for whatever reason

He plays with the emotion of a child. Everytime he makes a play, he has the biggest smile on his face like he's having the best time of his life. When things aren't going his way, dude literally looks like he's about to cry lol

Frontrunner mentality. It seeps into Mavs other guys too. They can blow you out by 50 when things are going well but an off night like tonight and they sulk and don’t play hard enough to get back in it.
