I feel like we have some fundamental value differences so when I find someone who’s like me, I get really happy.

How do I find them?

In hostels 99% of people are actively into drinking

Scarcely aka in every non Muslim place which is to be found in every mall, hotel, shop lots etc?

Yeah, I wouldn't say it's scarce in Malaysia. It's very expensive compared to everything else, but it's always there.
