As a coach, he's great. Very good organisation and structure, usually has the team doing basics very well, good on set pieces and knows how to play for result.

His downfall at Osijek was player recruitment, he brought in older players with no re-sale value and which did good under system he employed, but without that structure they were just average players that don't add that much.
