Effing Facebook idiots are full on conspiracy cover up mode with this. Spouting it was really a missile and the plane and radio traffic was all a Psy op cover up and shit. They're nutty as hell. It wouldn't even make sense.
I get your point - it's awful these days - but there's loads of real life local groups, marketplaces, and contacts that I'd lose if I deleted it. Besides, how would I otherwise keep track of the birthdays of random folk I met travelling nearly 20 years ago? :-)
Get a calendar for your wall.
Market place and local area news and info. Like 2\3 if the cool events and local news I find out about is on Facebook.
