This is inspired by the account on instagram that posts videos about the greatest players in oddly specific situations. Instead of discussing the general greats of the game, who are some players that were elite in strangely particular situations.

Some examples are Jimmy Butler in the playoffs, Shaun Livingston taking a middy, TJ Warren in the bubble, anyone being defended by PG for a game winner etc.

Jevon Carter transition pull up 3 and Jrue Holiday’s shot over the backboard from the baseline we’re two of my favorites last year. Patrick Ewing would always pop in my head when I’d see these, “Do you practice that shot?” Turns out they do
