He will outsize nearly everyone 1v1 when he’s on an island like this. He can backdown fine.

His issue is holding onto the ball and making the right decisions when the D collapses.

No, he’s really not good at backing down some smaller guys like CP3 and Lowry because his center of gravity is too high.

Nah, if you push him while he backs down (which everyone does), he can't complete the shot.

Even strong forwards can do it. It's not a size thing, it's ensuring he doesn't have the distance to do a dunk or put in.

In this instance JJJ was just faking his defense and wasn't really providing resistance
