https://amzn.to/47AJmOg its only gen 3 speeds but still something like this cost an arm and a leg when i bought one for my desktop. And apparently gen 3 is better for battery life anyway.

For what it's worth, I purchased one of these in October, along with some Crucial RAM for my laptop, and my laptop now cannot achieve S3 suspend. I believe the issue is this drive, but I am on a trip without a screw driver, so I can't take it out and test.

Without reaching S3 suspend, my laptop goes from fully charged to dead in about 6 hours - I literally can't suspend it over night. I'm running Ubuntu, but I've tried with several distros (booting from live USB), and so far none reach S3.

I should have access to a screw driver, and be able to test some time in the next two weeks. I'll try to remember to update this when I do.

The drive has been great otherwise. I know people have commented about the lack of DRAM and potential performance hit, but performance has been great for me - I haven't noticed any difference relative to my more expensive Samsung drives. I'm a photographer, and copy 10s of gigabytes to the drive at a time, and it's handled that without issue.
