Nahhhh please no - much rather Pope for a bit longer then get someone who’s better than Ramsdale like, very average keeper

Not a big enough upgrade. Considering the areas of the squad we need to strengthen, a goalkeeper will not be a priority, especially not one who’s barely better than Pope.

In the summer we will have around 400m in headroom for FFP, so either buy in summer or loan to buy would be fine for him. He will be what 25 in the summer so the faster he gets his confidence up and integrated it would be important.

Pope at 31 isn't too old imo but ramsdale would thrive at Newcastle
