I feel like Jokic, Giannas, and Luka have destroyed stats for me. Getting 36/16/9 is something I don't even bat and eye at, I just go oh, they had a good game. NOT EVEN A GREAT GAME. Just a good game lmao. I remember a time that wasn't too long ago, I'm talking like 2015 where 25/6/6 was a pretty insane stat that people were like damn. I really feel like stats stopped becoming so shocking when Harden and Russ were just getting 30 point triple doubles every night and Russ legit averaged a triple double for like 3 seasons or whatever. Before that nobody had averaged a triple double since Oscar Robertson in 1961!

Does anyone else feel this way? I don't even know what is good anymore honestly or when I should be impressed.

People are pretty desensitized to “filling the stat-sheet” type lines since so many players are very versatile now. Like with the line you used, for example. Taking the stats individually 36 points, 16 boards, 9 assists isn’t THAT out of the ordinary. Obviously, putting it together is whats impressive but the stars you mentioned have a very high usage and their playstyles are suited to approach those numbers on almost a nightly basis. People are still impressed with big lines but it would have to be big individual stats like 50+ points 17+ assist 20+ rebounds etc.
