The Clippers are now 4-7 since trading for Harden, or 0-1 in his "ready" state.

Memes aside, he was okay this game, but okay isn't good enough when you're with a fully healthy Clippers vs a Reggie Jackson-led Nuggets.

Harden isn't exactly playing terribly as a Clippers, but at this point in his career, it's hard to justify an offence-first player on a team as offensively stacked as the Clippers when they're in desperate need of some more off-ball movement.

Harden is looking to secure a max extension, we'll have to see what kind of contract he can muster as he gets more into game shape as the season progresses.

Harden also shot 3/5 from 3 and had the teams best +/- with +6

Why is no one mentioning Paul George putting up 6/8/4 and 3 TOs shooting only 2/13 and 0/4 from 3. This loss was a result of PG's poor shooting more than anything.

the sub was silent as can be when we won 4/5 and Harden was contributing, the Harden hate boner is crazy here

To be fair two of those wins were against the 3-12 Spurs, while another was a blowout win vs the Mavericks but he only recorded 8 points on 2/8 shooting.

I'll give him his flowers for the win over the Rockets though, but that's just one good game during that stretch.

I really dislike the way that this sub is completely subject to the narratives that NBA media is pushing.

The Ringer guys have really gone hardcore in on shitting on Harden, absolutely giving him 0 benefits of the doubt or credit for anything good he did or does, and this sub jumped right on the hate train immediately.

I notice it with my friends as well, I guess it's just the regular "bloodlust" that sells in today's media, people want to hate on people and people like to be outraged, and nothing nicer then getting into a thread of other people like that and making fun and shitting on a millionaire star.

Last year it was Russ, and a lot like with Harden a bunch of it was justified, but it's just too much, especially to Harden, who is being blamed on 76-ers flameout last playoffs despite, at least in my opinion, contributing more to winning then the reigning MVP.

Now, the Clippers are being covered similarly to how Lakers were last year, the new guy who was traded for is being blamed for everything, while no one even mentions the other 2 stars on the team slumping hardcore despite playing good minutes.

As someone who’s often defended players with unfair narratives I kinda think harden isn’t worth defending much anymore . He has caused a lot of shit at this point, to me I low-key felt bad for fans of nets n Philly fans and it’s only cos harden is delusional about his play n value

KCP had PG absolutely clamped. Dude has been locking down elite players all year. Help Shai to his worst game in years as well!

This sub does not like harden it’s pretty clear just going through this thread

I had a long argument with my cousin after Thanksgiving when he brought up the Mavs reporter rant. I gave him all the context on why that rant was disingenuous and my cousin essentially just said "well I still think Harden's a bitch because I don't like him and I'm gonna keep blaming him."

Because PG had one bad game playing for the team he's been playing for for years, and Harden has had an endless string of bad games and now it's for the team he demanded a trade to like a total diva.

[–] Maadchillin2@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What does that to do with this game though? Harden played decent last night.

This is PG and Kawhi's team. They get the credit when the Clippers win, and they should also get the blame when they lose if they play like they did last night. PG was ass and Kawhi was inefficient, and these are the mains reasons why the Clippers lost last night.

Pretty normal for the sub, you ain't getting any serious discussions in a typical thread anyways. Harden stans just be quiet rn cause any other opinion than treating Harden like Hitler is going to be downvoted.
