This is completely uncalled for, Pat Nevin is wonderful person, Chelsea through and through, and beloved by pretty much everyone.
I don't know how many non-Chelsea fans are familiar Paul Canoville and the abuse he suffered throughout his time here as our first Black player, but Pat was the only teammate that came out and publicly defended Paul.
That's the quality of person we're talking about here.
I'm sure they can sign another media personality to an 8-year, 300k a week contract with that hidden Putin money. Maybe stick him upfront as well.
