I don’t think the Lakers would win a bidding war for OG. The Grizzlies and Pelicans reportedly offered 3 1sts for OG last trade deadline.

The post-championship bubble season was worthwhile. Nobody is going to blow up a 60 win quality team and arguably there was a pivot in place to a Pascal/Fred/OG led team but it didn't hit high enough of an offensive upside.

After that, he picked Barnes but aside from that it's been a slow erosion and a net outflow of draft picks just to be mid.
