I’ve been building a business for a few months but still have a ton of work ahead of me. I’m trying to view my to-do list as exciting - focusing on the potential to transform my life for the better - but I often feel overwhelmed instead.

Anyone have any entrepreneurial stories/books/etc. that you’ve used to maintain the correct mindset while you’ve built your business?

  1. Looking back at the progress I've made is very important. Hard to see progress in the present. We have to look back at ourselves
  2. We have to accept that hard work isn't just what immediately gets us money - it includes all of the boring, tedious, and questionable tasks. Moments where we ask ourselves: "What the h am I doing?!"
  3. Realizing that most people don't try. If we try, we now have to compete with those who try, so let's try harder and harder. Eventually our competition gets smaller and smaller, and then we can keep trying
  4. Realizing it's 2023, and most people have access to abundance like never before. So we better take the opportunity. A quote from Breaking Bad: "Make hay while the sun is shining"

I hope this helps :)
