Watch some of David Goggin’s videos. Helped me many times when I felt like giving up when opening my restaurant going through the permit process (took over 1 year to get permits)

I'll check his videos out, thanks!
No books but I found that having a running list at a fairly fine granularity was helpful. Then given a few hours I could say. 'which of these can I finish now' and knock one out. If you can't complete an item on the list in your normal amount of work time -4-8 hrs the. It should be smaller. Good luck
Very helpful, thank you!
- Looking back at the progress I've made is very important. Hard to see progress in the present. We have to look back at ourselves
- We have to accept that hard work isn't just what immediately gets us money - it includes all of the boring, tedious, and questionable tasks. Moments where we ask ourselves: "What the h am I doing?!"
- Realizing that most people don't try. If we try, we now have to compete with those who try, so let's try harder and harder. Eventually our competition gets smaller and smaller, and then we can keep trying
- Realizing it's 2023, and most people have access to abundance like never before. So we better take the opportunity. A quote from Breaking Bad: "Make hay while the sun is shining"
I hope this helps :)
Thank you, really appreciate it!
Try The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss: While not specifically about entrepreneurship, this book challenges traditional notions of work and life. It offers insights into creating a business that aligns with your lifestyle and values.
I found it useful for my daily motivation.
Thank you - I've been reading that one too :)
My first startup had a good group of dedicated followers. We put together a monthly newsletter to give them updates in-between launches. Motivated us for 2 reasons:
- We got lost of kind replies every time we sent it out
- It reminded us how much we have achieved over the last month.
For my latest company I put together a monthly investor update - serves a similar purpose!
I really like this idea - thanks!
