Lots of people calling Darnold a likely bust, but hoo boy is there a lot of Josh Rosen hype
Rosen was considered to be the most NFL ready of the QBs taken.
The Legend of Josh Rosen
I was one of the people that thought Rosen would at least be a steady starter. I thought he showed a lot of potential at UCLA. I compared him to a Joe Flacco type QB if I remember correctly.
I thought the exact opposite of him at UCLA lol. Brett Hundley and DTR were both better than him in college. Rosen really only had the aTm game. I might be biased as a USC fan, but at the same time, I do watch a decent amount of UCLA games.
You’re comparing him to a Super Bowl MVP??!
What was the reason he failed, lack of skill or is he a total buttwrench that is uncoachable?
That one’s still crazy to me because no other QB outside of maybe Mac Jones got the “Most NFL Ready” hype more than him. Outside of the obvious top prospects like Luck or Lawrence
This completely exonerates the GEQBUS!!
never understood the hype. Not sure there's a single player in the last 15 years I've been more sure would bust aside from maybe Christian Ponder.
Two years ago I started a thread with the question “Was their ever s time your team drafted someone that made you furious…
…but the player himself turned out to be pretty good.”
Josh Allen was the top answer.

This sub was convinced he could still make it when he was on his 3rd team because they identified with him.
