Monty Williams signed a 6 year / $78,500,000 contract with the Detroit Pistons, including an annual average salary of $13,083,333. Options + incentives could max deal at 8 year, $100 million.

Signed big money with no goals or expectations. It's got to be the most stress free coaching job. Just show up and get paid . They could have paid an interim coach 500k a year and still have the same result they have now. But no. They wanted to dump 80 million into a coach who probably wont get this team back to the playoffs before that contract is up
