Thinking of marketing and ways to stand out, and I was thinking a square, black business card would be a great way.

Close family and friends have supported the square, another entrepreneurial friend said go with the conventional rectangle.

Last set I did were squircle shaped with a QR code that links to my contact info/vcard on the back.

I also hand number them and try to keep track of who I give each out to.

It seems they make a more positive impression than typical business cards as almost everyone comments about the hand numbering and my trying to remember who they are instead of cramming their card in my pocket.

Here's what I’ve concluded, you either get in their contacts quickly or not at all...buried and forgotten in a stack of other business cards. I don't care about my card fitting in someone's wallet, it's 2023 not 2003 I want to be in their contacts I want make it as easy as possible.
