Ehhhh.... It's high budget for sure, but I'm just not convinced live action avatar will ever be good. They could've remastered the cartoon with a fraction of the budget.

The combat seems a lot more dynamic than Shyamalan's take, so that's something at least.

Right? I'm cautiously optimistic. The fire bending looked really cool, and it seems like they kept Sokka's dry quippiness.
