Selfhosted
A place to share alternatives to popular online services that can be self-hosted without giving up privacy or locking you into a service you don't control.
Rules:
-
Be civil: we're here to support and learn from one another. Insults won't be tolerated. Flame wars are frowned upon.

-
Don't duplicate the full text of your blog or github here. Just post the link for folks to click.
-

I tried jellyfin with finamp, tried synology's solution, plex, kodi. However, maitaining the library is just an endless hassle with correcting tags and pictures, genres. Tried many tools to fix it but went actually away from this a couple of years back. Now it is Internet Radio Stations in my sonos automated with motion sensors via homeassistant with volume and station depending on the time of the day and day of the week
This is pretty much why I never attempted to use something like Jellyfin for the music I, um, accumulated through the years. I use Spotify and Youtube these days.
