What's a good way to respond to sms messages on my phone, through my desktop pc? I do not have wifi, just my phone's usb/tethering connection.

It's probably not exactly what they're looking for, but it was my first thought too.

OP, if you have Internet access via USB tethering, then it doesn't really matter that you don't have Internet access via wifi. Everything works just the same.

Just wanted to say thanks, this works perfect so far and ended up being the most viable solution for me.
