Shortly after 9/11 I was flying to Munich for a small con. Of course I had my lightsaber in my carry-on. My homemade lightsaber. My homemade lightsaber that looked more like a pipe bomb than a lightsaber. It took some convincing to let me take it aboard. The flight back was harder.
