I thought they were massively flooded? I guess both can be true when you have a huge country.

About 11% of the Earth's land is Russia. It is bigger than three of the continents, and within a whisker of the size of the fourth (South America).

Happened in Australia in the same location last year... They went from bush fires to flooding in a day.
